Alumni Weekend offers CORE 101 graduates advanced skills training and pathways to mentor or serve as faculty. The Leadership Summit convenes emerging and seasoned indigent defense leaders to strengthen management, culture, and client-centered leadership through collaborative, strategy-driven sessions.

Gideon’s Promise Winter Institute is a three-day training held annually in January. This conference allows us for Gideon’s Promise “Returners” and Alumni to continue to hone their trial skills. Gideon’s Promise alumni who have completed their CORE 101 program are eligible to attend follow-up training tailored to their specific needs.
Winter Institute provides small group sessions on relevant topics, and all courses are taught by renowned Gideon’s Promise faculty, including alumni and special guest faculty with “niche” expertise. CLE credits will be offered to participants.
